A Modern Online Church Experience
A responsive church website designed and created for a welcoming and interactive online space for worship, connection and community growth.
Overview Of The Project
Client Name:
Living Spring Harrisburg Church, U.S.A
Tools Used:
Figma and Webflow.
My Role:
Web (UI) Designer, UX Designer, Web developer.
Problem
Statement:
The church’s former website lacked modern design, ease of navigation and essential features like responsive layouts, service schedules and donation functionality. This made it difficult for members to stay connected and for new visitors to engage with the church community effectively.
Solution:
I designed and developed a modern user-friendly church website that foster connection and engagement. The new website features an intuitive layout, a welcoming design in line with the church’s brand and key functionalities such as service schedules, online donations and community resources - accessible across all devices.
Process Of The Project
To begin the project, I conducted research to understand the church’s goals. This involved analyzing their current website, identifying usability issues and discussing the church’s vision with stakeholders to ensure the new design aligns with their mission of fostering worship and community connection.
Based on the insights gathered, I created low fidelity wireframes to map out the structure and flow of the website. This step focused on organizing the content in a way that is intuitive and engaging for users; while ensuring key features like service schedules and donation options are easily accessible.
I developed a clean, modern design using the church’s brand colors (white, gold, blue, green) to create a warm and inviting feel. The design incorporated engaging imagery, bold typography and intuitive layouts to reflect the church’s values.
Using Figma, I built an interactive prototype to show case the website’s design and functionality. This prototype allowed stakeholders to visualize the user experience and provide feedback for improvement.
The approved design was developed using Webflow, ensuring a fully responsive and visually stunning website that performs well across all devices.
Before launching, I considered usability tests to refine the design and fix any issues. The final product was a user-friendly and interactive church website, ready to inspire and connect the congregation.
The designed and developed church website achieved its goal of providing an accessible platform for members and visitors. The website now offers seamless experience, resulting in increased online attendance for services and events. The modern design and mobile-friendly layout have also led to a 40% rise in website visits within the first month of launch. Members can effortlessly stay informed, participate in activities and give their offerings online.
